Alvic technology for energy management stands out at Green Gas Mobility Summit 2023

Alvic Group's technological solutions for renewable energies, such as gas and hydrogen, once again stood out at the Green Gas Mobility Summit. The company, present at the event with an interior space, closed its third participation in the congress with a beneficial balance. “The experience was highly enriching, fluid and positive. We could perceive an atmosphere of innovation and collaboration. Exhibitors presented a wide range of solutions related to sustainable mobility and hydrogen innovations. And we had the opportunity to interact with industry experts,” says Iñaki Loza, commercial representative of Alvic in Madrid.

During the fair, which was held on September 20 and 21 at La Nave in Madrid, the Alvic team presented the latest developments for energy management in gas stations and hydrogen stations, such as the latest generation Vertex self-service terminal, in addition to innovations for the transport fleet management sector that use gas as fuel. In fact, one of the main concerns among attendees was the need to accelerate the transition towards cleaner energy sources, such as biogas and green hydrogen, to reduce carbon emissions in transportation. “We also notice an increasing focus on the circular economy and sustainability across the entire supply chain, from biogas production to vehicle manufacturing. Electric mobility, especially in commercial vehicles, is rapidly gaining ground. Furthermore, digitalization and the integration of energy management systems are key trends to optimize efficiency in the use of green gases in mobility,” explains Loza.

“Every year is more enriching”

Alvic, as a partner of Gasnam, the association that organizes the event, participated in the Green Gas Mobility Summit for the first time in 2021, and has continued to reaffirm its commitment to renewable energies with the development of products and technological solutions. The company is also part of the Hydrogenizing BCN Consortium, contributing its experience to the Hydrogenizing BCN project, which will build hydrogen refueling stations in the country over the coming years.

Compared to previous editions, I would rate this year's Green Gas as extremely relevant and beneficial for Alvic. The sector's evolution towards more sustainable mobility has become more evident, and the fair provided an ideal space to connect with new partners and stay up to date on the latest innovations. We were able to identify strategic opportunities that could strengthen our market position and improve our offering of products and services related to green gases. I think every year is more enriching,” concludes Iñaki Loza.

More than 1,300 accredited people, a broad institutional representation and leading energy and transportation companies have positioned the Green Gas Mobility Summit as a reference in the search for a sustainable future. Hydrogen - the energy vector that has received the most headlines this year - was the main protagonist of the conference, establishing itself as the alternative for the future that will enable zero-emission transport by road and sea, and with a sector that demands the support of the administration for the national deployment of a hydrogen network.
