Alvic wins the 42nd Guillem Catà Award for his long career in research and development

Alvic's technical team has received the Guillem Catà Prize, which is awarded each year by the College of Industrial Engineers of Central Catalonia. The 42nd edition of the guardón has recognized the company's long history in software research and development, equipment manufacturing, project consulting and after-sales support for service stations, work that has made Alvic a benchmark in the sector of management, computerization, automation and distribution of the energy sector.

The jury —made up of industrial engineers from the Catalan counties of Anoia, Bages, Berguedà, Cerdaña, Moianès and Osona— and under the chairmanship of Salvador Arqué, president of the entity's Central Catalonia Demarcation, has valued the 35 years that Alvic has offered the best technology and after-sales services for the management and control of businesses in North America, Central America, South America, Europe and Africa.

The award annually recognizes a technician or technical team that performs an outstanding technical or scientific task in the area of ​​Central Catalonia, the area where Alvic's history began and where today the company has its headquarters.

The company is very grateful for this recognition, which has come in a special year for Alvic as the company celebrates its 35th anniversary. In the coming weeks, the award ceremony will take place, where representatives of Alvic will collect the award.
