Alvic becomes a partner of Gasnam to promote sustainable mobility

Alvic has joined the more than 140 partners that are part of Gasnam, to promote sustainable mobility with natural gas, biomethane and hydrogen. Gasnam is the sustainable transport association that integrates the gas and hydrogen value chain to meet the environmental, economic and operational challenges of transport by land, sea and air, in Spain and Portugal.

The actions and activities of the association are based on the circular economy, since natural gas contains less carbon than traditional fuels and therefore emits much less C02 as fuel for vehicles; infrastructure, since Gasnam is a key interlocutor for companies and administrations that are allowing the development of adequate infrastructure; the user, with the diffusion of the advantages of natural gas and hydrogen for transport; and, finally, air quality, since with the use of natural gas, hydrogen and renewable gas we contribute decisively to improving air quality. Gasnam is, in turn, a member of NGVA Europe (Natural & Bio Gas Vehicle Association).
