Vertex, this is Alvic's most innovative self-service terminal

Alvic has installed the first Vertex terminal, the new generation of OPTs that the company exhibited at Motortec Madrid last April, and which will also have a wall version. The equipment offers both the user and the service station a new way of paying and managing refuelling or charging, to go one step further in the shopping experience. The terminal, characterized by its exclusive design and the most innovative technology, makes an activity that thousands of people carry out every day much simpler and more practical.

Triangular base and two faces

The design of the Vertex combines elegance and efficiency in perfect harmony. The triangular base offers two functional faces in a single terminal, which allows to improve and streamline the user experience. In this sense, the LED lighting in the two front parts and the back of the equipment, facilitates the visualization of the status of each refuelling or load of the person who is carrying out the action. The arrangement of these lights serves to avoid queues and to give the final customer information that, at present, it is impossible to know if an element like this is not available.

The terminal accepts cash, bank payment with reader or contactless and, in addition, can include other elements such as fingerprint detection, camera, courtesy light, intercom, RFID and scanner.

At the hardware level, Vertex also has improvements to the screens, which are more resistant to shocks and atmospheric agents, while increasing their quality. The standard manufacturing colours are pearl grey and black, although Alvic offers a customization service to adapt the equipment to the corporate image of each company.

Renewed management software

Alvic's most innovative self-service terminal incorporates the new version of the software for the operation of the equipment, which allows the easy introduction of new energies such as electricity, gas and hydrogen. Thanks to the experience of having thousands of terminals located in all types of facilities and the comments of customers and users of Alvic equipment, the technology company has developed the new operation with the aim of satisfying all needs and perfecting the process end customer purchase.

Vertex software has been created with the most advanced languages, allowing complete customization and configuration. In this way, each service station or charging facility can adapt the equipment to its business and customers. Speed, simplicity, more languages and better guidance are some of the features that this new version incorporates, although the most visual part is the total change in the image of the operation.

Finally, the terminal also has an advertising system to capture the user's attention during refuelling. This channel allows business to be promoted with a centralized system of own or third-party advertising for the entire network of stations.

In this way, Vertex joins the wide range of self-service terminals offered by Alvic. From the Autofuel family (Pedestal, Cash and Embedded) and the terminals integrated in the dispenser, to the reduced format of the Selfpro and the Flash Pay for electric charging terminals
