What is the Digital Kit Program?

The Digital Kit Program is a public aid aimed at the digitization os SMEs and freelancers of any type of business or sector. The objective of the initiative is to subsidize the implementation of digital solutions available on the market to achieve a significant advance in the level of digital maturity.

Frequently asked questions about the digital bonus

Who is it for?

The first call for the program will be aimed at SMEs and the self-employed from all sectors, as long as they have between 10 and 49 workers. The following calls will be for micro-SMEs and freelancers with between 3 and 10 workers. And, finally, between 0 and 3 workers.

When can I submit my application?

The deadline for submitting applications will be six months, from March 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. to September 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., or until the maximum credit of 500 million euros allocated is exhausted to this call. The grants are delivered in the form of a "Bono", redeemable for packages or digital solutions.

What requirements must SMEs keep to?

They must keep to the following requirements:

  • Be considered a small company.
  • Be registered in the Census of entrepeneurs, professionals and withholders of the State Tax Administration Agency or in the equivalent census of the Foral Tax Administration.
  • Be up to date with tax obligations and with Social Security.
  • Do not be considered a company in crisis.
  • Minimum seniority of 6 months.
  • Do not exceed the minimus aid limit .

And, of course, having taken the Digital Maturity Test at www.acelerapyme.es and having counted, during the last financial year closed, with an average workforce of between 10 and 49 workers.

Can more than one digital solution be contracted?

Yes, each company can contract as many solutions as they wish until their Digitization Bonus is exhausted, always within the established period of time. Only one solution may be contracted for each Program Catalog Digitization Solution Category.

Is there any cost for the requesting company?

The beneficiary of the subsidy will assign to the Digitizing Agent the part of the Digital Bonus linked to the agreement for the provision of digital solutions. If this is the case, you will also have to pay the part of non-subsidized cost.

What costs will not be eligible?

The Digital Bonus will NOT cover VAT or other taxes, which will have to be paid by the beneficiary, regardless of whether they can later be deducted. They will not be considered eligible either

  • Interest on debts.
  • Interest on arrears, surcharges and administrative and criminal sanctions.
  • Expenses derived from legal proceedings.
  • Financial expenses.
  • Infraestructure and civil works expenses.
  • Lands.
  • Hardware.
  • Telecommunication services and Internet connectivity.
  • Expenses related to compensation for work provided by third parties to obtain these grants (advice, management or similar).

When will the rest of the calls open?

The forecast is that the following calls will open throughout 2022, with the aim that the projects are implemented before 2024.
