Alvic participated in the 20th edition of the show Intertraffic 2010, held from the 23 to the 26 of March in Amsterdam. It is the leading trade fair for traffic and transport industries, a key event for the latest developments in the field of infrastructures, traffic, safety and parking.

In this area, Alvic introduced the APS system, an EMV payment system for unattended terminals, achieving a wide acceptance among the audience of their stand.

Interfraffic Amsterdam 2010 is the best showcase of industry trends, as has the participation of 700 exhibitors from over 38 countries worldwide.

Unattended terminals Alvic-SELF and Alvic-CARD for EMV card acceptance, also known as chip cards, have passed the certification process required by SERMEPA.

This is the result of a long process that begins with the approval PCI / PED for the keyboard Alvic-PIN PAD, and then for the secure reader ALVIC-APK. Soon would come the certification EMV L2 for the software Kernel which ensures the authentication of the payment transactions in unattended environments. All these developments are provided entirely by Alvic.

The cycle ends with the attainment of certification SERMEPA for EPS payment application, designed by ALVIC, which allows communication between the terminals CARD and SELF and major national banking centers authenticated by SERMEPA. This will ensure proper compliance and compatibility with the new EMV standards, providing customers a complete safety in their operations.
